Avoid over preheating

With fast heating, there's no need to heat the empty cookware for too long. Preheat the pan with the ideal time of 30 sec or until the hourglass sign is no longer visible and changes to a red dot. Do not put the pan on high heat as it will damage the handle and coating once it reaches the handle.

Avoid excessively high heat

As Tefal guarantees excellent heat conduction, start your cooking at an ideal temperature of medium heat or lower. No high fires needed as the high heat that reaches the handle will damage the coating.

Use rounded utensils

Use rounded, wooden or resin utensils to avoid scratching the coating.

Add some oil

Clean your pan with a neutral detergent to ensure it is always in tip-top condition.
