How can I get the battery replaced when it does not have enough capacity?
The battery pack of JIMMY power washer is removable. You can buy a new battery from the local store or online shops and replace the old one. Battery replacement can be easily done without using any tools.
I have a big house. How long can the product work after each charge?
HW8 can work for 25 minutes in standard mode. If you want a longer working time, you can buy an extra battery to double the working time of the Power Wash.
Can I buy an extra battery?
Yes, you can buy an extra battery for replacement as the battery of JIMMY power washer is removable. You can double the working time with an extra battery.
Can the battery only be charged on the Power Wash?
Yes, currently the battery can only be charged on the Power Wash. We will soon have a new design of separate charging base for battery charging available.
Can it work on a wooden floor?
JIMMY power washer is suitable for all sealed hard floors, including hardwood, tile, laminate, vinyl, marble and linoleum.
Is it safe to use on hardwood floors? Will it release too much water?
JIMMY power washer has a unique external spray outlet design, making water spray visible. It enables you to precisely control water spray. You can spray more water on a stained and dirty place and less water on a less stained place. JIMMY power washer can dry the floor instantly after cleaning. It is very safe to be used on all types of indoor sealed floors including sealed wood floor, tile, vinyl, laminate, linoleum, marble, etc.
Can I use this vacuum as a vacuum only on my area rugs?
Yes, it can be used as a vacuum only on area rugs. It is better not to spray water on area rugs, otherwise the rugs will get wet and it will take a long time to get dry.
Is there a vacuum only setting or is it vacuum and wash every time?
It can be used as a vacuum only. If you want to vacuum without washing, just do not press the water spray trigger, then it will only vacuum without washing.
Does this work on carpets?
This machine is not designed for washing carpet. It is for washing the hard floor or for being a vacuum only on short hair carpet.
During cleaning, do you have to hold the button the whole time?
You don’t need to hold the on/off button all the time. For the water spray trigger, you need to press it to spray water and loose it to stop spraying.
Does it leave water spots on the wooden floor?
JIMMY power washer can dry the floor instantly after cleaning. It will not leave water spots on the wooden floor after use.
When you do the self cleaning roller option, should it have cleaning solution or just water?
We suggest putting in some cleaning solution to clean the brush roll better.
What is the mixture ratio between cleaning solution and clean water?
The mixture ratio between cleaning solution and clean water is 1:50.
How often should you purchase a new brushroll and filter?
The brushroll needs to be replaced once it's worn out or cracked. And the HEPA filter needs to be replaced about every 6 months or when it is worn out.
Does it have a detachable tool for vacuuming furniture?
It's all in one piece and it's only for cleaning floors. It does not have a detachable tool for vacuuming furniture.

How do I store my vacuum?
We recommend storing the vacuum in the charging dock or on the wall-mounted dock that comes with the vacuum. You can place the main body of the vacuum on any flat surface.
How to store the battery if not using the device for a long time?
If you don’t use the device for a long time, we suggest putting the battery in a cool and dry place. Please ensure that the battery is fully charged before storage and charge the vacuum every three months at least to refresh the battery.
How should I charge the battery?
JV51, JV53 LITE: you can charge it with the battery on the vacuum or take the battery out of the vacuum and charge it separately.
How long should I charge the vacuum?
The charging time is around 4~5 hours. When the indicator light turns to green from red, the vacuum is fully charged.
How long is the battery life?
Normally, the battery needs to be replaced after around 500 charging cycles. If you charge it three times a week, the battery can work for around three years.

Can I use the vacuum on tile?

Can I use the vacuum on the carpet?
Yes, JIMMY vacuum can be used on undercoat carpet. It can pick up big debris, hair and dust from carpet.
Can I use the vacuum to pick up liquid?
No, the vacuum cannot be used to pick up liquid. It may cause blockage to filter. If liquid enters the motor, it may cause damage.
Is there a wall mounted bracket that I could use for my Jimmy cordless stick vacuum?
Yes, JIMMY vacuums come with a wall mounted bracket for charging and storing the machine, and also for storing tools.
How to clean the dust cup?
Dust cup can be emptied from the bottom. If you want to wash the dust cup or the cyclones, press the dust cup release button and twist the dust cup to take it out to wash it with water.
How to clean the floor head?
Use a coin to rotate the nozzle base release button, then take out the brushroll gently and clean it. If the brushroll is washed, please make sure it is completely dry before assembling it into the nozzle.
How should I clean the HEPA filter?
Pull out the HEPA filter upwards, and gently tap it on the trash can. After cleaning the HEPA filter, put it back into the dust cup.
Can I wash the HEPA filter?
Yes. The HEPA filter can be washed. Since frequent washing will reduce HEPA life, it is recommended that the HEPA filter is washed no more than once a month.
How long can the HEPA filter be used before replacing a new one?

How do I know when the filter needs to be cleaned?
When you feel that the suction power of the device is getting weak or the run time is getting short, you should clean the filter. HEPA needs to be completely dry before reuse.
What should I do when the vacuum is not working?
Please check whether the vacuum cleaner has enough battery power and whether the parts like metal tube, electric floorhead are mounted correctly on the vacuum cleaner.
What should I do when the vacuum stops working during use?
