  1. This contest is open to all citizens of Malaysia above 18 years old as of 1 March 2019 who are valid HSBC Credit Cardholders, except the employees of Senheng Electric (KL) Sdn Bhd [“the Organiser”] and their immediate families, their business partners and suppliers.
  2. This contest will run from 1 March 2019 to 31 May 2019 [“Contest Period”]. The Organiser shall reserve the right to shorten or extend the Contest Period.
  3. To participate in the contest:
    1. Eligible cardholders must spend at Senheng or senQ retail outlets a minimum of RM3,000.00 via 12, 24 or 36 months 0% Instalment Plan in a single receipt on any HSBC/ HSBC Amanah's credit card/-i to qualify.
      Every RM3,000.00 spend entitles the eligible cardholder to one (1) contest entry.
    2. Complete the e-contest form sent to your Senheng app.
    3. Answer a question and click submit within the Contest Period.
  4. The Organiser and the companies involved in this contest shall not be held liable in any way for any online downtime, delays, non-deliveries and/or interruptions of online submissions in conjunction with the contest.
  5. The eligible Special Prize winners will be determined by the total number of qualified entries received from all HSBC cardholders during the Contest Period divided by 5.5, for example: if the total number of qualified entries is 11,003, then this number will be divided by 5.5 and rounded to the nearest lower whole number which is 2,000. Hence the 2,000th, 4,000th, 6,000th qualified entries and so on will be shortlisted as Special Prize winners. In the event the shortlisted entry is disqualified, the next earlier entry will be the replacement winner, for example: the replacement winner for the 2,000th qualified entry is the 1,999th qualified entry.
  6. The Special Prize x 5: Shopping spree worth RM5,000.00 for each winner.
    1. Five (5) winners will win a 5-minute Shopping Spree at a designated Grand Senheng Retail outlet (with restrictions and pre-imposed parameters during the shopping spree).
    2. The Special Prize shall be arranged and organised by the Organiser, its affiliates and/or any third party supplier(s) nominated by the Organiser (or its affiliates). The date, time and itinerary of the event (scheduled for August/September 2019) will be determined by the Organiser. Winners must adhere to the final date, time and itinerary set. Failure to attend the event will result in disqualification of the winner and prize forfeited. No representative is allowed to attend the event.
    3. The items will be paid in full by the Organiser up to a limit of RM5,000.00 per winner. Any excess of this amount will be borne by the winner. Any balance from the amount will be forfeited. All other expenses incurred for attending the event shall be borne by the winner.
    4. Items selected during the Shopping Spree cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason and have no cash value. Sale prices and members rewards are applicable during checkout.
    5. All winners must sign a release letter to have their name and likeness used by the Organiser for advertising and promotional purposes, failing which, the Organiser reserves the right to disqualify the winner(s). Video shoot will be carried out during the Shopping Spree event.
  7. The eligible winners will be contacted via telephone. Should the first attempt to call the winner fail, i.e. no reply, telephone number not in service or no connection, etc, another two (2) attempts will be made within the next 24 hours of the first telephone call. Where such further attempts are unsuccessful, the Organiser reserves the right to select the next qualified participant e.g. where qualified 2,500th participant could not be contacted, qualified 2,499th participant will be contacted. The Organiser will not be held liable in the event the winners cannot be contacted for whatever reasons.
  8. Each participant is entitled to win only one (1) prize during the Contest Period.
  9. In the event the Organiser organises a prize giving ceremony/event, each winner is required to attend at his/her own expense to collect the prize. Failure to attend the prize giving ceremony/event may result in forfeiture of the prize.
  10. The Organiser reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of similar value without prior notice. All prizes are not transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash for whatever reason. The value of the prize is correct at the time of printing. All prizes are given on an “as is” basis.
  11. Winners shall assume full liability in case of any accident, injury, damage, loss or claim resulting from participation of this contest, redemption and/or usage of their prizes.
  12. The Organiser collects personal identifiable information to provide services or to correspond with the participant. This information is stored in a manner appropriate to the nature of the data by the Organiser and is used to fulfill the participant’s request(s). This information will be used as required during the fulfillment process of the prize to the participant. By submitting the participant’s personal information, the Organiser deems that permission is given to the Organiser and/or its authorised agents to use this information for the purpose of present and future marketing and promotional purposes and to improve its products and services. If the participant informs the Organiser that the above information should not be used as a basis for further contact, the Organiser will respect the participant’s request. The participant’s information will not be provided or shared with other companies or partners unrelated to this campaign for their independent use.
  13. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to the Organiser and its agencies to use the winners’ names and/or photographs for purposes of publicity, advertising and/or trade without further compensation or notice.
  14. By participating in this contest, participants agree to be bound by the official Terms and Conditions and decisions of the Organiser.
  15. Judges’ decision is final. Correspondence will not be entertained.
